Hi, I’m Ella, founder of AHANĀ. For the past five years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching yoga and movement, a journey that began with a transformative stay in Costa Rica and has taken me across the globe, completing multiple trainings in a variety of practices and ancient teachings, with mentors that remain by my side. My practice is rooted in curiosity, I’m continually deepening my understanding of movement and the mind-body-collective, with a heart centred interest in non-dual teachings.

My teaching style and approach has evolved with my personal journey, drawing from what resonates most profoundly with me: the dance of stillness and motion, and the raw magic that comes with truly dropping into your body and intuition.

Community is at the heart of everything I aim to build. I believe in the power of collective energy and how transformative these retreat spaces can be when we come together as a group. There’s something unquestionably beautiful about sharing spaces where we can connect, support, and inspire one another. Each retreat is a collaboration—an opportunity for the group to co-create an experience that goes far beyond the individual.

The locations I choose for my retreats are deeply personal and intentional and the venues I collaborate with begin always with friendships. Rooted in shared ethos, honoring the environment, the lands, and a shared interest in creating beautiful experiences. These spaces are carefully chosen to create a nurturing atmosphere where everyone can feel at ease and inspired by their surroundings.

For me, holding a compassionate and welcoming space is essential. My retreats aren’t about imposing structure but about offering guidance and fostering a sense of belonging and exploration.

Yoga has been a profound force in my life, guiding me back to my center, a playground, a sanctuary, and a homecoming all at once. My passion for these practice runs deep, and I see being of service and sharing, truly as my dharma.
